Hello everyone - long time no post.
I went out to strip the brake pads and found the tool needed to remove the callipers was different than my previous Renault (got 57 plate Dynamique did have 54 plate). It doesn't look like a spanner but more of a funny key.
Have they changed the tool to take off the callipers to get to the brake pads?
The nut was behind a plastic "anti rust" protector.

This is total guesswork, and apologies for the basic reply.
Did it look like this:

If so, you will need to buy an appropriate sized torx bit (or set).
