Electrochrome mirror

Hi,

I have a 06 plate megane hatch and I want to upgrade the rear view mirror to an automatic one. I've removed the rain sensor/mirror housing however there doesn't appear to be any ISO plugs bar the one for the rain sensor. My missus has a 05 plate and on removing the housing there are 2 ISO sockets inside. Does anybody have any idea where the ones on a 06 plate are? If they don't have them how do I go about fitting the electrochrome mirror-or am I buggered?

On Meganes from 2002 - 2005 there was one wiring loom to fit all models, so connections for extras were in place even if the extra wasn't (one advantage of an early car) From 2006, phase 2, onwards Renult started to save money by making the wiring loom model/extra purchased dependant.

So if it didn't come fitted from the fatory chances are you dont have the connection for it, bar the DIY fitting of cruse control as all meganes can acheive this.

the mirror still could be fitted but will require tracking cables ect...

Re the above, Can anyone help? What does tracking back mean? Sorry but I,m a bit lacking in the brain dept when it comes to auto electrics. If it's a simple enough job I'll give it a go but don't want to be ripping my car to bits!!

I have a 07 plate megane sports tourer, would this be as standard on it, mines a dynamic

On an 07 no... you only have the wiring loom for the options at time of purchase.
