Hi, I have a question for you people. I own a Megane II 1.5dCi facelift 106 hp which have done 78k Km in 38 months.
After these 78k Km it's time to change the front tyres. I'm thinking of changing all 4 at once. The car does 100km per day on average so I need the tyres to contribute to economy. Which type do you suggest?
For UK (and other imperial based people 1 Km = 0.621371192 miles)

Re: Tyres for a hard working diesel
If you've achieved 78Mm (millions of metres) which is ~48k miles on a single set of tyres, I'd suggest getting the same as was on there.
For economy, Michelin Energy's (OEM on my Meg) are good. Cheap hard tyres should give a long life (but poor grip).
