Rear GT bumper

Hi

i have a 1.9dci 3 door megane
i wanted to just smarten her up a little, so i wondered if i could put the reat GT lower bumper bit on with the twin exhaust?

The good thing about the Megane 2 F/1 and the 225 F/1 from 2002 to 2005 have interchangable parts

the rear 225 bumper will fit directly on to the 1.9 as will the front bumper, the 225 intercooler is the same as the 1.9dci and the uprated intercooler for the 225 will also fit the 1.9dci, but it depends on the year/make /model

I have a 225 rear bumper on my 1.9dci and its origanal as well not after markit, I also have the 225 twin rear exhaust on my 1.9dci as it fits the origanal exhaust up to a point and all you need to do is get a exspansion pipe (Bigger bore at one end)

the lower bit will fit as its just a silver trim. the gt bumper is marginally deeper though so the fit won't be exact. theres been a complete gt bumper on ebay at 90 for a while now, probably cheaper than just getting the trim new.

I just bought "Megane 1.5 dci 106 dyamanique - December 2006" last week. Just thinking of replacing rear bumper/exhaust with GT bumper and twin exhaust.

Does anybody know where to buy these two items (reasonable price) and will they fit without doing any sort of car chasis modifications. Twin exhaust seems bit doubtfull.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Have you got any website link, i been trying to find them (bumper + twin exhaust) for few days without any luck....

Is this can be done myself?

It can be done yourself if you're handy with the spanners. The only place i've EVER seen a GT bumper forsale is in that ebay link. I can't imagine the complete bumper and trim being far short of £300 from renault. The exhaust you can get from Andrew Page motor factors.
