6 speed fly wheel
Has anyone else had one break. Mine needs replacing and I'm struggling to get costings. My local garage has never fixed one before so I'm unwilling to let them try. Has this part been recalled. The car is 4 years old and only done 69000 miles.

The "dual mass" flywheel that is fitted to you vehicle do fail over time/miles.. It is not that unusual but are not subject to any "recall" or "tech solution"..
A replacement is around £600ish.. Not including the price of the clutch..

Re: 6 speed fly wheel
Just out of interest: are we talking about the 1.9 dCi or the 2.0 16V petrol? Or do they both have dual-mass flywheels?
Owning a 2.0 16V six-speeder, I'm a little worried now...
(EDIT: Sorry, didn't notice hocuspocus' profile at first: 1.9dCi)
