What tyres do you wear?
What tyres are your meganes wearing now?
Just about needing to buy two new fronts and wondering if Kumhos are still the way to go. 16" tyres if my memory serves me correctly.
How are they doing?

Other.
I bought my Meg wearing Marshall Matrac tyres all round. They seem to be wearing really well, but they are not the best in the wet. Will be looking elsewhere when they are done.

Re: What tyres do you wear?
We stick to michelin energy. We have hit a curb in france and smashed one and it drove 30 miles safely on country roads before deflating the next day. We flat spotted one in different holiday and did 500 miles with few problems. Why use a £10 cheaper tyre and risk an accident.

I run on Michelin Pilot Sport tyres... Quite expensive but well worth it... grip the road extremely well.
I would defiantly recommend them.

Re: What tyres do you wear?
Well i've just shocked myself by getting worksheet out for last set i had put on.
I got them using tyreshopper.co.uk.
They are milleniums and were fitted at national tyres with balancing and tracking cost me i think about £160 for all 4 and i've done just over 31000miles on them
Plus its just passed MOT with the tester telling me tyres were fine and would get another 3to4months out of front on miles i do. At last something on a Megane thats ok

Re: What tyres do you wear?
My dad recently had 4 Runway Enduro tyres fitted to replace the original Michelins which had only managed 22,000 miles, admittedly there was still about 2.5-3mm left on them but they had started to crack on the outer walls
Anyway the local tyre centre fitted the Enduros for him stating that "they were a good tyre for the money"
Total cost £179.00 all in.
Now admitedly my dad is 75 and a careful but still spirited driver and he's done just over 3000 on them and everything seems fine so far, they've performed well in all this crap weather we've had recently and he say's that they are much quieter than the Michelins.

Re: What tyres do you wear?
When i got mine a year ago it was fitted with Corsa's. Great in the dry, but in the wet it would understeer like a mad man.
I have just replaced all 4 tyres with pirrelli P6000 and it is fantastic, and also become very quiet

Re: What tyres do you wear?
I've just got 3000 miles out of Michelin Energy - where do these screws all come from!!!
Going for the same again - they've been great all round: grip, longevity, quietness, braking and, importantly, mpg!
Note that I have a diesel - they're heavier.
On my previous 1.6 Petrol VVI I settled on HANKOOK Ventus Prime K105 (Asymetric) or Ventus Sport K106 (Directional).
Great value for the price, recommended.
Blackcircles.com used to allow us 5% Discount - code RENAULT - dunno if it is still valid, tho.
