window switch

window switch

My drivers front window has packed up. 1st does anyone know of common problem it could be? 2nd If it is the switch do the switches come out singly(is that how you spell it, doesn't look right!!!) or will all 4 switch unit have to be replaced?

the switch unit comes as a complete unit.
