Just have returned from a ride round southern Poland. 1600 km /1000 miles/ and 6,8 liters per 100km seem not to be the best result.
If any of you would like to travel round Poland some tips:
1. avoid main roads - very busy, a lot of road works, white van drivers and speed cameras.
2. Use back roads - not bad quality, not much traffic - you can drive 110 -130km/h and great views.
Visit Rzesow and Lancut - fantastic places.
Do not go to the mountains!
