* £90 a year tax instead of £235 for my previous car
* fuel economy
* cheaper insurance
* big space inside but small exterior

and most of all out of all the cars I've ever owned.. My Mrs LOVES driving it ! couldn't get her to sit in the drivers seat of any of the others as she was a nervous driver
but now she doesn't wanna give it back :(

I love my megane because it has always started, handles well, looks good. Big enough for the family. What else do you need.

Over last 3-4 weeks my car has not started the first time each day, i.e. when cold. It turns over but won't start. If I left it for a couple of mins, it often did start.

Changed spark plugs and it started first time for a few days. Now, as well as not starting first thing, if it does start, it can cut out when idling so you have to keep revving it whilst stationary. Once its warmed up, it doesn't cut out.

Then, if you leave the car for a short or long period of time, it may not start. Had Green Flag out and he put a tester between the distributor cap and coil and reseated connections to the coil and it started fine. Two days later, it wouldn't start and hasn't started since.(4 days now).

I keep reading about TDC sensor. Should I replace that? Do I have to get a garage to do it and how much is it?

Amny help appreciated.

I do not own a Megane at the moment, but had one a couple of years back. I loved it because at the time nobody loved me, and yet she never let me down. The day she left I cried, but she never looked back, heartless bitch, such a tart.

I have quite simply fell in love with my rihanna (my name for the car) she has a big arse, beautfiul curves and lines and just looks menacing when shes out, feel like an extended part of my body when i drive her and ive only had her a few weeks now! she hates corsas and ambulances as proved in asda car park :oops: the roar of her 1.4 when she pulls away makes alot of people sh1t themselves, shes a real head turner, every time i arrive for work i park her right in front of the cctv cameras so i can keep an eye on her all night and just admire her (im a security officer so hope that clarifies that but :D ) only issues i have had are electrical systems and also had a couple waterpump belt tensioner issues :( other than that, best 2 grand i ever spent and best of all....... she is mine! long live rihanna you little beauty!
