I had
- the AC re-filled, which showed that the condenser module was leaking - €400
- Cam belt and waterpump changed - € 450
- ribbed drive belt and its tension pulley changed - € 200
- Breaks alround replaced (Discs and Pads) - € 300 in Ebay Parts and € 80 for having them replaced
- the used car warranty extended by 1 year - € 190
Adds up to the mere amount of 1140 Euros....

- Last summer I got a new Turbo - € 000 Warranty, luckily

Cross fingers that all these measures now have given me a reliable car that even goes way beyond the 60000 miles it has on the clock now....
I was really thinking of selling it due to the current costs for Diesel cars, but then again, having invested so much money I give it another shot, especially with my Megane sporting leather interior, rain and light sensor and Navigation system and other thinks that I would not be able to afford in a new car ....
Any thoughts? What's the situation in the UK? Are Diesel cars still affordable?
Cheers, Marco
