Hello all, I am experiencing a dreadful noise from the 6 speed box in my Mk2 CC privilege at the moment the clutch pedal is lifted but before clutch actually engages. It has been suggested this could be first motion bearings. It does not always happen, is mostly very feint and took weeks to get a clear recording when it was particularly noisy after a long drive. It is most frequent and loud in 1st and 2nd gear. I hope someone out there will watch my youtube recording and give their expert opinions.
