Door remove and replace

Hi,
My brother's convertible Mégane was hit by another vehicle and the passenger door has a huge dent in it. The wire/cable that moves his window up and down on that door has recently snapped.
I've managed to find a door of a matching colour with all the parts in place and working. I was thinking of replacing it for him.
What do I need to look out for? I think I would need to replace the manual barrel lock. Is the door easy to reattach or could I have a door that hangs incorrectly and won't close? Will the central locking still work on the new door?
Anything else?
Any tips greatly appreciated!
