The Mégane II Owners' Club

Hi everyone,
I recently bought Megane II Convertible 2005 dCi 1.9 and have some questions regarding parts compatibility with standard Megane parts. Judging by eBay listings none of the parts are compatible which baffles me.

For instance, I am looking to change the air filter and even if it looks exactly the same, this listing says it is NOT compatible: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/COMLINE-AIR- ... SwyTdax5cz

Also, I can't find compatible window buttons online as their plastic grooves seem to be slightly misplaced compared to standard Megane or Scenic parts.

Is it a fact of life that I should prepare for and where to find parts for the car?
