06 megane cc roof

As I said in my last post I have an issue with my roof operation. Yesterday it worked perfect but when I went to put my roof down this morning all I gotta a beep and a message on dash saying “consult roof handbook” there is no motor noise or anything.
Is there anyway to reset the roof mechanism ?
Is there any common quick fixes I could try ?
To be honest the roof is the only reason I bought the car so any info or help would be appreciated.

Is the roof blind sitting in its mounts properly could also be the micro switch in the blind mount, the mounts are the two plastic "hooks" the blind fits into which allows you to open the roof.

Yes everything appears to be in place , it has been working fine until I went out the other morning.
It had been raining heavy all night but come morning the sun was out so I attempted to put roof back. Soon as I press roof switch I get 1 beep and message on dash saying
‘ consult roof handbook ‘
When it was working , I press switch , all four windows lower then roof retracted but now the windows don’t even lower . You just get the beep and msg straight away.
However pressing the window switch next to it all 4 windows lower as normal.
As I do not have the roof handbook I don’t know what to try next ?
Is there anyway to reset the roof ? or am I going to have to shell out for a diagnostic or something similar from a Renault dealer.
