Megane 2 CC Roof Fault

Hey guys,

Fairly sure you've seen the same title a thousand times at this point, but having done some digging and searching, I've only found one other thread with the same problem.

Like many others, Out of the blue a few days ago, on the 'messages' section of the trip computer, it tells me that there is a 'Roof Mechanism Fault'. But unlike so many others, there's no beeps or anything. rocking either of the switches by the handbrake evokes any response from the car. Roof doesn't move, dash doesn't respond, car doesn't beep at me. And the roof was operating just fine over the weekend.

It could very well be the switches, but would both stop working if one stopped working? or has anyone had this happen them?
