Well had my 2007 cc just over 3 weeks first thing to go wrong air bag light staying on got it put on diagnostic machine to be told I need a new squib 370€ without fitting
Get that done and now rear window has stopped working new module on order 100€
That's on top of 2 tyres 220€
And I still need to sort out the one thing I knew that was wrong when I bought it - parcel shelf wing missing god knows what that's going to cost
Good job I love my car :D

the squib can be sourced new for 100gbp... and the rear module for 40€ both genuine items, so you have to find a new dealer who wont charge you a fortune ....

It's an old car (10 years is old).
Why not use second-hand or reconditioned parts?

Hi yep know it's a 10 year old car but cars are ver expensive here in Spain Just paid 3000€ for this one 2007 and that was cheap getting squib from uk for £125 with p&p so that's better than price I was quoted were can I get modules for £40 please I'll get them ps breakers here are expensive as well on my old cmax wanted 180€ for an alternator

Sorry - hadn't noticed your location!
Still, look on the positive side.. you could be in England.. it was snowing this morning 26 April, and I got soaked walking to the train station..

Well it is the diamond of doom...
Every on thinks the sensors on the a pillars are ultrasonics... wrong! They are wealth sensors, they sense how skint you are and adjust the braking parts accordingly to make sure what breaks next keeps your bank account just in the red. Thats renault for you.
The passenger one reads friend's n family just incase you borrow money to fix it off them.
As for rear windows well I sure they where designed to drive you nuts pre programmed in the temic work ok for a few months andddd do his head in then back to ok again. :devil

We know the feeling of overpriced Cars and Parts,we are in France-it's a French car as well!-I get mine sorted when we do our UK trip every year it almost pays for it! lot of locals go to Spain or Andorra to get spares and cars as they are nearly half the price as it's only about 60 Km. good luck and enjoy.
