Position of Dip Stick 1.6vvt

I have a 2006 1.6vvt petrol trying to find to position of dip stick checked in handbook no sigh in position indicated-in board computer indicates level OK. :conf

1.9DCi it's in with the oil filler cap on top of engine unscrew cap and there it is joined to the cap probably the same on the 1.6 petrol

Taken filler cap off oil nice and clean,no nasty carbon smell no dip stick, The handbook states it should be on the front of the engine,only a pile of knitting electric cables so I have left them alone! still looking.

I feel your pain. :banghead The Dipstick is at the front of the engine, really deep down but there is definatly a dipstick in there!
