Speakers & Under seat Subwoofer with Pioneer double din Apple Car play Head unit?

Hi all, I'm looking to get my newly aquired CC (bought from parents), "pimped out"......! I've had a company Qashqai the last year that had a BOSE sound system with Subwoofer and my god it was awesome! 
So I'm looking to install the Pioneer double din 120 model with Apple Car Play - Anyone done/got? Love to here your experience /thoughts! I'll get a camera fitted separately as Halford don't fit them and I hate reverse parking without! (Guess I'll get a pioneer one, any advice welcome which one?.....)
Now the techy bit, I've searched the forum to no avail - What size speakers do I need front and rear? I thought I'd be able to Google quite easily to save pulling door cards etc out but no.....!?
Has anyone ever fitted an under seat Subwoofer? My Step dad says he can fit one and it'll be great but I'm not sure I trust him.... lol
