can any one help a damsel...?
My near side external A pillar trim came loose a few days ago. Then last night taking my sister home, it decided to let go, bent itself in half and made heck of a noise. My father made a quick repair but i need to replace the part.
My questions are ...
1, Guessing the best place to look is the scrap yard, so how easy will it be to remove the trim.
2, How is the part actually fixed? Clips, glue sealer... all three???
thanks for any help given

Re: A pillar trim
There is one torx-headed screw at the top which you can only get to once you put the roof down. The rest is held on with several plastic clips, but from what I remember, once you have removed the top screw, the whole trim panel can then be slid up along the A-post to release it from the clips.
Re: A pillar trim
Thank you for your help.
Went and had a look yesterday. Took the screw out as you said, the trim panel came straight off.
Looks like the adhesive/silicon/sealer that bonds the trim panel to the part that holds the clips has seperated. Then as the wind has got underneath and snapped all the clips.
Looks like the fix is easy enough, trying to find a trim panel on the other hand.....
