i purchaced a 08 plate 1.6 convertible with 51000 miles on clock in march this year,Need info ref age/miles for belt change.

72,000 or 5 years whichever comes first.

what sort of price with main dealership or repair centre should i be looking at.

Use a good independent garage, not main dealer. Get the aux belt and water pump changed at the same time. Approx. £300.
