wiring for the cigarette lighter

Hi my cigarette lighter started to play up so I'm changing it.
it's not a standard part so will need to put spade connecters to wire up.
my question is this. There are 3 wires out of the old standard one to the plug. Blue, yellow, black.
can anyone tell me what wire is what please I'm guessing black is my negative and the yellow the power.
