Perplexed by rear windows!

Hi guys have read online for some time and only just got around to joining!
I have searched and searched but cannot find the answer to my gremlin!
All the windows work fine with every switch but when using the ones behind gearshift. The rear windows do bot go up or down! Anyone have a clue what it is. Its easy enough to lower them from drivers door but would be nice if the open all or roof button operated them too. Regards Gordon
