Hi Gareth,
The "Megane 2 Roof Problems" my "problems"took me 6 months to finally suss out what sensor was causing the roof to only half open then stopping, got it off to a fine art of catching the half opened roof then press the roof rocker switch on\off really fast ,it would then go back in small amounts
until it reached the over head part, then it slowly lowered it self into the boot under hydraulic pressure,
I drove it like this for 3 months with the only inconvenience beeing the "Manual Close"each time,Taking the 3rd fuse out from the bottom of the passenger fusebox became a daily chore mastered even in the dark, but lifting that heavy glass roof on your own is challenging at first.
If you are still having problems let me know and I will try and help as I pretty much know the workings of the sensors inside out after 6 months spent researching, searching with out much joy for any CC Roof related stuff. To be fair I only mention 6 months cos the tax disc needs renewing and thats about when I last remembered pulling off my drive and not having the bleedin buzzer telling me my lifes about to end due to "Check Sunroof" error
Anyway its now pleasing to hear the "Roof Operation" Thumbs Up chirp everytime,so if I can be of help to anyone with Roof Woes just ask even made my own cables for the flimsy parcel shelf and played around adjusting them to achieve that sweet spot where it closes just in time,.well pleased as my work ethic is to fix it myself eventually and ringing the "Main Agent"is out of the question, plus my cable mod eliminates the dreaded cable pull through its crap plastic fitting on the boot arm when the opposite cable breaks
