Is it possible to turn alarm sensitivity down?

Postby Snowgirl » Mon Aug 12, 2013 11:59 am

Hi, Brought a megane cc last week and was just wondering if it was possible to turn the alarms sensitivity down, without going to Renault?

The problem is when my other half starts his car up at 5am in the morning to go to work his car is setting my alarm off  His car is very lould (Tuned up Celica with custom exhaust system) and we have to park them very close together to fit them in the drive.

The only thing I can think of atm is for oh to unlock my car (to deactivate alarm) get his out of the drive then to lock mine up again? Or tell him to get rid of his Beloved Celica

Have a look in the handbook as you may be able to disable the alarm but keep the imobiliser, I'm not 100% but its worth a read :-)
