front seat

hi i have a problem with the passanger front seat in my 55 plate megane cc . the seat will not lock into position when the passanger trys to adjust it, it will only lock when fully pushed back ! any idea where i should start looking .

Ensure that there's nothing stuck in the latches or mechanism.

have checked all the runners and latches nothing obvious

Just to be clear, are you talking about the runners i.e. sliding the seat backwards and forwards or the tilt to allow people in to the rear?

Hey, no worries that's what forums are about. As for your issue I'm afraid I'm out of suggestions, sorry.
Hopefully someone with other ideas will be along soon.
