service light and airbag light

hi my friend air bag light and service light came on , she went to her garage guy who said
« Airbag fault » and « service » lights = missing frame?????????????

i have no idea and she was left baffled , hers is meg cc 05 plate

any help appreciated - i know as the seat move forward it can cause sensors under seat to turn on , but he just said yes but it has a missing frame

Put your hand under both front seats fish out the plugs hiddend under a flap in the carpet and squeeze them together, mine does this around every 9 months or so dependant on how much the rear seat is used (passenger seat slides forward to let them in).
My Airbag and service light come on, once I do the above the lights goes out, worth a try 1st it free and nothing to lose.

its either the plugs under the front seats or the slip ring...
