Hi all

There is a ex company car for sale at work with 195000 on it with a few faults such as the heater blower not working
service light on "check injection" on the display, from what Ive read this seems to be a glow plug problem, apart from
that the car still performs quite well.

Could anybody tell me what the value of this is if broken up is, to see whether it is worth taking a risk on buying it
it has no service history and has been keyed down one side with a bumps and ripples on the other side.
book value is quite high but the condition is not great, any thoughts much appreciated

Regards,

Bas

To be blunt unless they are literally giving it away, with that mileage and those faults, there is n't a barge pole long enough I'd touch that with! :no

Hi thanks for the response.

Would £1000 be a good buy?

Thanks

If you can get it for £1000, then fair enough I suppose, you could get that back selling it for spares, when it eventually dies, given that the Renault stealers want to charge me £140 for a door lock for the drivers door on my car!!!

What year/spec/engine is it?

John
