I would think so, my passenger rear window has a habit of chewing cables for some reason so I have had enough of it now, last year I removed the cables and bolted the rear window up in place, plugged the motor back in so the roof ECU "thinks" the window is working and use it like that, so when I drop my roof I now have 3 windows go down and passenger rear stays in place, roof works fine.
Your problem though as I found on one occasion is your rear window might just decided to "just" work again, as mine did and then decided once half way down to no longer work leaving your car open to any scumbag who wants to put his hand in, you can by using the wife on the window button pull it up, but it wont stay up tight and you can push it down, which is why I got fed up after the 3rd one and bolted it in placeso it wont move.
So in answer to your question yes it should but you run the risk of this window deciding to work again and getting stuck either down or half way!

Thanks Chris M!

Ya that has happened alright, the window got stuck half way down, so i "loving" tried to pull it up, to no avail. However a few minutes later it decided it was grand again! But its totally gone now! Rang Renault Ireland and my local dealer will cover 75% of the cost for fixing the window, however they said the roof won't work! Quite annoying since I was hoping for some top down time at Christmas :(

mine did but it is an 04 not an 06, as long as I kept the window motor plugged (which is why I stripped out cables) in the roof ECU assumed the window had gone down it has been like it now almost 2 years with pleanty of top down activites, not a single complaint from the roof about the bolted up window.
I do have an 07 regulator in the garage but you know what its like can't fit it when it is wet but when the sun comes out it is time to get out in it so it kind of just waits in my garage for that moment of insparation to fit it. :D
