I had 94 miles left on the range readout so I went to fill up 2.5 liters diesel at the nearby fuel station, when I left, the read out was still 96 miles remaining, I drove home which was about 1.5 miles away and it went down as if the additional fuel I put in never happened? I phoned the forecourt up and they confirmed they didn't have any problems with that particular pump tonight... Any ideas?

Was the key still in/ car running while you filled.. If it was the car tends not to register any added fuel..
