Megane fuel tank capacity

What is the capacity of the fuel tank in gallons? I am thinking of taking the car all the way as the fuel warning light tends to come on at about 10 gallons. I usually get another 150 miles after that and when I fill the tank find that there is still another 5 litres left.

I know a hatch has a 60 litre tank which equates to just over 13 gallons. Don't know if the CC has the same tank in it.

Is that 13 uk gallons or us gallons? I read in a magazine that it might be 13.2 which gives me another 10 miles ;-)

i normally get to around 530ish miles before it gives me that warning sign with a range of about 60 miles to go, then the range readout disappears to blank 10 miles or so later inconveniently when below 50, since this month, it's started giving me a warning sign around 490 miles however when i fill up at the gas station, the same amount of diesel (roughly) is still there as previous times, it's just giving me the warning message earlier than usual which is a bit weird

My manual says "approximately" 60 litres(=13.21 gallons) but I can't understand why anyone should run fuel this low-you will pick up any rubbish from the bottom of the tank.I fill mine up at the half mark and apparently it's best to fill up in the morning when fuel is denser.

With mine it can be a difference between 150 miles or an extra week to drive to work.
