I pay £80 cash in hand to a Renault tec for both mine, you will need to change tensioner and accessorie belts as well, also look at water pump, it is not essential but recommended, I didn't and had to ge back a month later as it was leaking cost me pump, coolant and labour again, when labour would have been inclusive of the belt change as it means taking it all off again to do the pump

timing belts are not as expensive as many people think most people know a motor vechical tech and as long as he has the locking tools will proberly charge £100 plus parts

Re: timing belt cost ??
I bought the timing belt kit and auxilllary belt online for £81 and my local garage charged me £124 (3 hours labour) to fit them. So £205 in all. ( I didn't change water pump as the belts were done due to age, 5 years old, rather than mileage which was only 24k).
A water pump is about £25 and may add £20 to the labour cost.
I'd be aiming for £250 for it all to be done.
