The Mégane II Owners' Club

Hi Folks, Have recently purchased 1.9d 57 plate CC dynamic with standard single cd player. I have a Pioneer cdx multi changer and wondered if anyone knows if it is possible to connect into the factory fitted cd player? Many thanks John

Best bet, get your CDs onto your MP3 player and buy the aux cable for the meg for a few quid, so much easier. Probably not as helpful a reply as you requested, but its certainly a great alternative.

Yeah its at the back of the head unit, it is a specific cable you need with a block conactor at the end. ive put the link below. You will see a square green block connector input on the back of the head unit, it is next to a yellow one if I remember rightly.

Once you have plugged that in, you will need to switch onto Aux mode, if you havnt got aux mode enabled, you can turn it on through the advanced menu on the head unit.

I have drilled a small hole through the top of the small compartment under the head unit for the wire to feed through, just to keep it tidy. Ipod sits in there nicely.

Many thanks for all your help and advice. Have tried to order one but unfortunately to seller is away till the end of June. Oh well perhaps that will be in time for the summer to arrive here in Scotland. Its a bit wet at the moment!!! Who needs a convertible? Cheers again John
