Pictures of a not so clean Megane CC

Spurred on by the talk of detailing, I broke out my gear and got cracking..
(The case came with a trail HP laptop.. we managed to wangle keeping the cases so we could use them for something useful instead..)

However, I didn't have much time, so the results are not that great..

I know I moan on about my Megane, but when I saw the price of these on eBay, I couldn't help myself..

They were a steal at 28 quid each! - that's including the bulbs and ballasts which don't come in brand new units..

I'm currently negotiating with the breakers yard for the front and rear level sensors, and researching how to modify the wiring to take the Xenon lamps and have the auto-levelling work. - I may have to buy my own CLIP so I can code the ECU to work with the lights, or get it done with my next service...

I also scored a brand new Louxor alloy wheel for £50 as one of my rears is very badly scuffed.. I've filled, sanded, polished and re-sprayed one of the front ones and didn't do too bad a job, but for £50 it saves me 3-4 hrs work and will look way better.
