Lights and leak

Postby rangerover2490 » Sun Jan 02, 2011 5:38 pm

Hey all,

I'm in the process of changing to a 2008 Megane Cabrio Monaco, or Dynamique S in the Uk.

When i test drove it there was a few drops coming in on myself and the passanger from where the roof and windscreen meet. The car had been parked on the forecourt and not moved for some time and we recently had extremely heavy rain. Is this to be expected???

Also I want to change the lights to the blue volvo style units and wondering has anyone done this and what is involved???

Cheers

Mine doesn't leak at all even after heavy rain. I'd be wary of it. I'd check the rubber seals for damage, although it might
Just need some silicon grease applying. I do mine regularly and it stops leaks and rattles.

I'm not sure what Volvo lights are like, do you mean the blue coloured lamps? The CC lights are nice and bright anyway.
A Bit tricky changing the lamps though as it's done via the wheel arch. Access is very tight.
