I went to go and check it out with the Mrs this weekend and as much as I tried to love the car I could not justify the £3000 price difference between the old and new.
The 1.5dci is now automatic which sounds great but costs more than the 1.9??
The bulbs still seems a nightmare to change actually seems slightly worse than 2. But the worst crime is the boot. With the roof up I think the 2 has more space which is a real shame.
If my wife drives I can sit behind her in my megane cc we tried this in the new one and her left knee hits the dash under the steering.....
Will take it for a test drive one of these weekends maybe it will redeem itself.

Re: Megane cc 3
I have not seen one yet, Renault dealers seem to open and close down here very quickly, which is not suprising really as I worked for them a few years ago, awful to work for they treat thier dealers quite badly really, or use to, always pulling stunts like not being able to produce a key for 2 weeks so we have to tell customer who then yells at us, turning down a warranty claim as it openly falls outside the criteria, so customer rings Renault and they say well the dealer should be doing this job, so we get shouted at again by customer, s owe do the job put the claim through and then Renault decided they are not going tot pay us as it is not in the criteria for warranty!!!! awful Company really.
Any way as said not seen a new CC yet, by the sounds of it the new CC has rear seats still, by the looks of it on the box I thought they would have gone the same way as Vauxhall with the Twin top Astra and made it a two seater, so they have made the 1.5 an auto - what all of them, no option of a manual? not a good sales move as a lot of us still do prefere sticks plus Renault Autoboxes are definatly not he best!
They have some strange marketing ideas do Renault.

No the 1.5dci is the only automatic diesel option with a dual clutch system, the rest are manual. if my memory serves me correctly the new cc is about 100kg heavier but only has 4 more bhp. Therefore 0 - 62 is down from 12.2 to 13.3.

I read that the 1.9dci will be replaced by a new 1.6 dci which I am looking forward to. Perhaps better mpg with 1.9 performance.
