The Mégane II Owners' Club

Hi

Just got a 2004 Megane II CC and all is going well apart from from the squeaks coming from the front windows when they are going up or down, is there a quick fix for this and is it a warning for something big coming up?

Is it worse in hot weather?

I had this problem and it would always be the window which had been most directly in the sun.

The drivers side got so noisy that eventually I took it to the dealership. They took to door apart, confirmed there was nothing wrong with the window motor, gave it a good lubrication and it has been fine since then. They only charged £25 for one door so not too bad and a relief that the motor was OK.
