Hi Guys,

New to this forum after buying my wifee a 2.0 cc.

Everything seems fine except for a couple of things;

1) The drivers door is slightly out of alignment - whats the best way to adjust it a couple of millimeters ?
2) Every time the car moves, it locks the doors automatically - how do I deacivate this ?

Cheers for any help guys.

wonder is it like my driver door?
shuts ok looks in line at hindge end, but just before it hits the catch it is about 3 or 4 mm low, so the catch must lift it so it shuts but is still about 2 mm low when shut, there is no play in the door when it is open so the hindges must be ok, I might wedge a block of wood under the door when open and jack it up a bit, using the car weight, (old motor trade trick)
Strange really as nothing is lose, nothing bent, so no obvious reason why the door handle end has dropped, but I supose at the end of the day they are a very hefty door, so I supose it is inevitable it will especially driver door is it is used the most, trouble is for me getting enough opening on it on my drive to get the leverage on the jack. they are very long doors.
My wife coupe (Renault) has two opening points on her doors one is about half way open, where it stops and you have to push again to get fully open, I guess it is to let people into the back but when we get in an out of hers the door only opens to the 1st stop which gives you enough room to easily get in and out, my CC seems to have the same idea going on but boy is the stop weak, most times the door goes completly past it to fully open, which facing down a hill is rather intersting as if you are holding it (hopefully) it nearly catpults you out of the car!
