I personally don't have a problem in the front seats with no wind deflector behind them. Its when I have passengers in the back with the roof down that the problems start. They get blown to buggery in the back. I've sat there myself with the girlfriend driving and its very draughty even at 40 mph.

Sometimes I need the extra rear seats. Kids and a few choice friends etc and the original deflector makes me think I should've just bought an MX5 with the seat loss it causes.

It's a really neat piece of kit. They have 1 left if anyone is interested. Here's the link

Missed a genuine Renault one on e-bay last week-went for £166.00. Ordered one of these now.

Just bougth a wind deflector from eBay. £89 plus £12 postage. What a difference!

Does it fit ok? looks good, excellent price as well. If I wasn't stuffed for discs and pads ALL round I would buy one might just juggle a bit of cash though I mean Stopping is not THAT important is it?

Meggyman-there is a perspex one available at www. windstops4cars.co.uk
It appears to be a big piece of perspex which stands behind the seats. £124.95
I've just ordered the one off e-bay for £89+del.

Yeh it fits well, has 2 sliding bolt type pegs that locate in the rear quarters, and 2 feet that rest in the seat belt slots in the back rest. I'll take some photos and see if I can put them up here

Yes it is a lot wider from what I can see, although the genuine part covers the rear seats better and is shaped to the contours of the back rest.

Just out of interest, there is a genuine one on eBay just now Link

I agree, thanks to the wind deflector I can have the roof down at 6 degrees instead of 10, assuming it is dry

So do I. Mine arrived last week and it's really effective. 6 degrees? that's warm!
