Boot Opening

Any ideas on whats wrong with th boot on my 2004 CC? I can raise and lower the roof, but the only way I can get into the boot is with the key. Any suggestions as to the problem?

Sounds like you have lost power to the boot, some how either a blown fuse of more than likely a broken cable where they constantly flex where the boot opens, I am sure you need power to the lock as I think this is where the roof ECU gets is signal about what the bootlid is doing i.e open or closed, with no power to the locking mechanism sounds like the roof thinks the boot is open!
Therefore wont stow roof until you "shut" boot, so check your fuse and power cables that go to the look and bootlid lock button.
I am guessing the rest of the locking works ok.
