SEAT BELTS REWIND. TO SLOW.

Hi all. just purchased a 06 cc this week and im finding that the drivers seatbelt doesn't retract very quickliy after use. can i rectify this myself? any pointers?

hi, im a new forum member and i have this same problem, mines a 55 plate, it can be very annoying when it traps in the door after getting out...

anyone no how to fix??

This is a common feature of convertibles.. my Audi Cabriolet setbelt was slow to retract..

I think the only way to fix is to replace the belt as the spring gets worn.. I used to just unclip the belt and 'help' it back retracting.

Mine has been ever thus. The belt works okay so my friendly MOT garage always passes it, but it could be a failure (bit of a picky point in my opinion). It's also a real tw@ to get at (trim).
