dropped doors
Hi all, sorry if it's been said before but I will tell you my fix. The doors on the CC being big heavy buggers ,tend to wear the hinges and drop and will not line up properly. I recently bought an oldie but a goodie - 06 100.000mile diesel for silly cheapness, one of the probs was the driver door not lining up, u had to lift it to get it to shut. I jacked up door using a piece of wood to stop damage and released the top and bottom nuts off the hinges, jacked up more just enough to create a space then put 2 thick (2mm) spring washers on the bottom hinge only and tightened it all back up...and ...no one was more surprised than me that it actually bloody worked- door lines up perfectly again - so might be a quick and easy fix for someone else.

Re: dropped doors
On mine (04 plate) the drivers door drops a little when opening. This fix sounds like just the thing I need.
Thanks.
Thanks.
