Broken driver's side parcel shelf fold-out wing thingie

Hi

Mum borrowed my car to go driving in the countryside with the roof down and when she came back she somehow broke the driver's side parcel shelf fold-out wing thingie...wtf! How do you even do that?

But anyway, firstly, does anyone know the actual name (or part number, etc) of the part? Secondly, where can I get one?? I've tried google and ebay with no luck I don't mind second hand either. I dont need the whole part, just the broken frame bit from under the parcel shelf fold out wing thingie.

Seriously? Does nobody know anything about this issue? C'mon guys, SOMEONE must have had a similar issue!

That happened on mine when I first picked it up. Because it hadn't been used much, the wing thingy didn't retract on it's spring ans the roof actuator caught it and snapped it off. I glued it back together and lubricated the pivot that had gone dry. Works a treat now.

I found it extrremely difficult to find a spare for cheap. These things cost like £40+ each second hand!
I glued it too. Superglue to the rescue, but I also took a CD, cut it into strips, bent them with a lighter, sanded them and used them as reinforcements.
No probs so far!
