Hi,
New to the forum having just purchased my first Renault, a 2006 Megane CC, loving it so far and was looking at he wind deflectors, they seem very expensive for what they are, do they really make a difference sitting in the front.
Thanks
Wind Deflector, Do they work ?

Hi, I believe they work very well, there was a design for a home made one on here if you do a search you should find the thread.
Otherwise, hang on until a CC owner gets here and they can probably help more

Re: Wind Deflector, Do they work ?
Yes work a treat stopping frozen left shoulder and hand.
Oigonal one folss n splits in the middle for storage, made of plastic
Plus: folds up to half length usually with a pvc bag for stowage.
Negative: flimsy and expensive even in used codition.
Aftermarket one fairly cheap metal frame but only folds in half along its length so a bit awkward to store. It just fits in the boot should you have friends with either removable legs or extremely short ones that have to use back seat. Wont fit in boot with roof off where as O.E one will just depends on how much you want to spend but definitely work all internal tubulance gone, so the heat from heater does not get sucked out as quick which leads too roof off in cooler temps. Bonus!
