Oil indicator
every time I start my car I get a message " no message available " , could the oil level cable be disconnected , also sometimes on hot days the screen goes blank but comes back once I've pressed the stalk button .

Re: Oil indicator
Does this message go off after a few seconds? I seem to recall a message like that on one of the wife's Modus' which went after 2 or 3 seconds and I just took it as good news that there were no messages to display.

Not even if you flick through it? Perhaps oil is low? Have you checked?
