fuse box

Hi all,
I am looking at removing my fuse box to hopefully resolve a few issues, I know that the fuse box is next to the battery but I understand there is another behind the first one??, do or can I remove both to check and clean or just the one you can see when you remove the cover?.

If I was to buy a used fuse box to swap over

A, do I need one from a identical car?

B, are they matched to your specific car?

I do not want to open another can of worms!!!!!!!!!!
