Just a quick one are mud flaps available for the CC, if not would the front mud flaps from a standard megane fit ?

Thanks

I think because the cc is lower than the standard meggy the mud flaps would be too long.... thats my guess

Any luck? I'd like some mudflaps not only to protect from stone chips but the sides of the car get absolutely filthy...well it can rub off on your clothes...

Went to Halfords on Monday and looked at their mudflaps.they had two types in stock, their own brand which looked good being a contoured rubber variety and a pair made by Cannon. Decided on the former as i had fitted the Cannon type before on another car and found that they could get trapped between the rear wheels and the kerb when reversing and would pull off ripping the flap and damaging the fixings not to mention the bodywork. Here is how i fitted the Halfords moulded type to the rear of the car.
1. Remove packaging and discard paper template and the plastic fixings.
2. Align mudflaps to rear wing and decide best height from floor. I placed mine some 85 mm distance from the top edge of the flap to the seam wher the rear side quarter joins the rear wing.
3. Warm up the ruber with hairdryer gently and shape bottom of edge back at 45 degrees.
4. Drill flap wth 3/16th drill bit at two points at back edge that you have just bent over and run 1/8th pilot drill up into bottom of wing an rubber dirt deflector and fix with 2 self tapping screws.
5. Jack up car, safely support car and remove wheel.
6. I then made three more fixings using the same proccess as before through the platic inner mud shield, again with self tapping screws.
7. Refit wheel and repeat on othr side.At this height i think they look good and will not ground.
This is how i did it. Someone may have another way but i am pleased with the result.
P.S. DISCLAIMER. I take no responsability for any accidents caused by others following my advice. If your not sure or confident with power tools, removing wheels, hoising and supporting vehicle in a safe manner then get someone to do it who is.

Mudflaps are available for the megane cc but they are plastic moulded ones, not rubber. They are made to blend in with the car bodywork. Cost a bit, look good and work and they don't catch on the kerb.
Easily fitted yourself unless you want to pay the dealership to fit them for around £70.

Hi guys just wanted to let you know my 2005 megane cc came with them as a factory option and to date is still the only one i have ever seen with mud flaps. The front mud flaps are fine but i found the back ones a bit bulky so i removed them.

Hi, I fitted a pair of new genuine CC mudflaps to the front of our 06 Megane CC which I bought privately. They are moulded polythene flaps which fit easily to the wing and follow the wing's contour. They stop some mud too.
I tried to buy a set of rear mudflaps to match the fronts from a local Renault dealer using the correct part code, they ordered them and phoned me when they had arrived. I went along to the dealer to be told that the part number I had supplied had now been superseded and was offered a pair of 'one size fits all Renaults' flat rubber muflaps. I declined them and tried again when we were in France in September, it was the same story there.
I have also tried to match the front mudflaps through a selection of on-line parts finding sites, all to no avail. So I have concluded that they just aint available any more (except secondhand).
Best of luck searching.
Dave
