Sat Nav control back lighting.

Hi All,
Can anyone help please.
The back lighting of the buttons in the sat nav control unit (square unit between gear stick and handbrake) seems to have packed up. Can't find any reference to bulbs within it or even how to extract the unit to check. Have checked fuses but nothing relevant. Has anyone had this issue - or knows the solution.
