Hi all.
New to this forum so hoping this is in the right form
I went to start the car tonight, not from cold, used the push start button and the engine spluttered but failed to start. The computer then told me to press the clutch first and then the button. I've never had to do this in the 2 years of owning the car, and it was only serviced 2 weeks ago, the garage said there were no problems and the car was in superb working order. Any reason why this would suddenly happen? There have been occasions where the engine has almost struggled to start over the past months, but it's never failed. It's a 1.6 petrol Megane III.
Any technical advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
Ignition problem

Re: Ignition problem
When starting my megane I have to press the clutch or break in to start as its a safety feature on them. Can't under stand why it's never asked you to do this as soon as I put my car in it says "push clutch or break".

Re: Ignition problem
The end switch on the clutch pedal could have been stuck... Yes, normally you press the clutch pedal before starting.
