ECU Re-proramme (flat spot)

Just a note for early 58/09 plate 1.5dCi 106 owners.
My dad's Megane 106dCi had a full Renault ECU re-programme about a month ago because it had a bit of a flat spot between 1500-2500 rpm
Well after the ECU software update it's now whizzing along like a scalded cat and fuel economy has improved as well! So he is happy
Well, apart from backing it into a low wall the other day and damaging the left rear quarter!
