Can anyone tell me if the new megane III is canbus enabled. I need to know if it throws a bulb out error warning on the dash when a bulb is blown or not functioning?
Thanks

See your drl post.
There is no "bulb out " message , but if you are thinking of led bulbs but It is I believe a canbus system. The current isnt right if the load isnt there.
1.Rear fog lights only one led bulb will light up
2.front fog lights Only one led bulb will light up
Using one normal filament bulb and an led one in the other side u will have 2 lit bulbs ,but it wont look very good.
Also I think running led bulbs on the M III without a resistor damages them over time.
For the I use a 50 w resistor on each of the foglight bulbs and a 25 w one on each of the drl bulbs.
The rear fogs I havent changed yet.
The sidelight bulbs (5w wedge) can be replaced by led with no problems, low circuit power consumption probably helps.
nb since the Led light output is lower than filament bulbs I wouldnt put them in headlamps, they would throw the beam pattern too.
I replaced my headlamp h7 bulbs with osram white light nightbreakers.
